Equestrian Magazine is the official publication of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), which serves as the National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport. The USEF is composed of 15 recognized disciplines (Carriage Pleasure Driving, Combined Driving, Dressage, Endurance, English Pleasure, Equitation, Eventing, Hunter, Jumping, Para-Equestrian, Parade, Reining, Roadster, Vaulting and Western) and 11 recognized breeds (Andalusian/Lusitano, Arabian/Anglo-Arabian/Half-Arabian, Connemara, Friesian, Hackney Horses and Ponies, Morgan, National Show Horse, Paso Fino, American Saddlebred, Shetland and Welsh Ponies and Cobs).
The USEF trains, selects, and funds our United States Equestrian Team which consistently wins medals at the highest level of international competition, including the Olympic Games. The USEF also licenses equestrian competitions of all levels across the United States each year.
